As June comes to an end, the energy from Money20/20 Europe (June 3–5) is still with us. For XTransfer, this wasn't just another industry event—it was a moment of momentum. As a 4-star sponsor, we set out to connect, collaborate, and co-create the future of cross-border B2B payments. What we came away with was even more powerful: a network of strategic partnerships and a renewed drive to support SMEs on their global journeys.

Engaging with the Industry at Booth #1G10

Our booth attracted strong interest with its clean design and clear message. We connected with financial institutions, partners, and industry peers from around the world, sparking meaningful conversations about simplifying cross-border payments for SMEs.

We were also honored to welcome Jin Yuan, Economic and Commercial Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands, to XTransfer's booth.

Keynote by CEO Bill Deng: Empowering Emerging Markets

On June 3, our CEO Bill Deng took the stage at the MoneyPot to present "Empowering Emerging Markets: AI-Driven B2B Payment Solutions for Cross-Border Trade."

He shared how XTransfer supports SMEs in 200+ countries with fast, secure, and compliant payments—and how AI and structured data are transforming real-time AML. With 60,000+ global clients, we're setting a new standard for B2B financial infrastructure.

Signing Letter of Intent with the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA)

Also on June 3, we signed a Letter of Intent with the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) to establish our European headquarters in Amsterdam. This marks a key step in our regional expansion to better serve local SMEs.

"XTransfer's decision. Their global reach, compliance innovation, and SME focus will strengthen our dynamic fintech ecosystem. " — Hans Kuijpers, Director of Investment Projects at NFIA

Fireside Chat — Building a Global B2B Payment Network

On June 4, we hosted a Fireside Chat at our booth, bringing together senior leaders from Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan, Barclays, and XTransfer. The discussion focused on how Fintechs and traditional institutions can collaborate to build secure, inclusive global payment rails—with highlights on AI monitoring and harmonized risk control. The session drew strong interest and sparked valuable follow-ups.

Fringe Event – Product Sharing, BNP Paribas MOU, and Happy Hour

That afternoon, we hosted a vibrant fringe event featuring:

  • Product Sharing – our CEO Bill Deng shared updates on our platform, including our Netherlands EMI license and expanded global payment network
  • BNP Paribas MOU Signing – XTransfer and BNP Paribas signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to reduce costs and processing time for cross-border payments—especially for Eurozone-focused global traders.

"By combining BNP Paribas' extensive European network with XTransfer's B2B cross-border trade expertise, we aim to simplify international trade, reduce costs, and enhance the global competitiveness of our clients. "
— Bruno Mellado, Global Head of Payments and Receivables, BNP Paribas

  • Networking & Happy Hour – The event wrapped up with informal networking, refreshments, and lively exchanges between financial professionals—a celebration of shared purpose and future collaboration.
